Today I am posting some pictures I took on a hot, hot day a few summers back of part of the landscape of Rose Hill Cemetery in Macon, GA. Truly, this cemetery is one of the most beautiful I have ever visited.
WELCOME!! This is a daily blog which features a different tombstone, mausoleum or cemetery photo every day. All photos are property of the blog owner and cannot be used without consent.
You are right, it really is beautiful with the terraced landscaping. It looks old too. Hope you found some relief from the heat under those big old shade trees!
ReplyDeleteYes, middle Georgia summers are intense and rough. Great photos!
ReplyDeleteLovely! If I'm every in the neighborhood, I'd love to visit--but not before some serious physical training. Looks like a challenging walk on a hot summer day.
ReplyDeleteIs this the one near the ocmulgee River in Downtown Historic Macon?
