Today's tombstone is the joint stone of Nicholas Richardson and his wife, Hannah. We know when both died and their ages at death, but one vital piece of information we do not know is Hannah's maiden name. Sometimes stones from the 19th Century like this one have the maiden name, but often they do not. Take notice also of the epitaph underneath Hannah's age. This is typical of many tombstones from the 19th Century. The foot stone is interesting. It is a joint foot stone, with both Nathan and Hannah's initials. Perhaps she is buried on top of his grave, but I doubt it. They are probably buried side by side. Finally, I love the eerie white emanating from the top of the tombstone.
