Another very interesting family crypt/mausoleum from St. Louis #1 Cemetery in New Orleans, LA. Looks like there is brick and cement making up the construction of the actual crypt with a group of marble panels decorating the front. In addition, there is a very nice gate surrounding the entire perimeter of the crypt house.

Today we have another family crypt from the famous St. Louis #1 Cemetery in New Orleans. This is a neat family vault with old bricks and cement.

Today we start posting photos from the magnificent St. Louis #1 Cemetery in New Orleans, LA. It is without a doubt one of the neatest cemeteries in the World. Only Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah, GA is in the same league as this cemetery. The cemetery has all above ground family mausoleums and this is one of them. The name of the family is on a plaque on the front of the crypt, but it is difficult to read. The crypt next to it is also neat. You can see that repair work has been done to these crypts over the years (notice the newer cement work among the old bricks).
